Frequently Asked Questions

What ages is this for?
Teaching Kids 2 Care is designed for children in grades K-5 (ages 5-10). Lessons are grade-leveled so content is age-appropriate whether your child is in Kindergarten or 5th grade.

What is CASEL and why does alignment matter?
CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) is the leading organization defining SEL standards used by schools nationwide. Their framework covers 5 core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. CASEL alignment means our lessons meet the same standards that 83% of U.S. schools use, making it easy for teachers and counselors to document and integrate.

Can I use this for my classroom or school?
Absolutely! Many teachers and school counselors use Teaching Kids 2 Care as a supplemental SEL resource. Each lesson includes instructional content, interactive quizzes, real-life scenarios, and discussion prompts that work great in classroom settings.

How many child profiles can I create?
Free accounts include 1 child profile. Premium subscribers can create up to 3 child profiles, each with their own name, grade level, and independent progress tracking.

Is progress saved between sessions?
Yes! When you create an account, each child’s progress (stars, completed lessons, badges) is saved automatically and loads when they log back in. Guest users (no account) do not have saved progress.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account page. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. If you cancel, you’ll keep access through the end of your billing period.

How does the Classroom plan work for teachers?
The Classroom plan lets teachers create up to 30 student profiles, assign specific lessons to individual students or the whole class, and view a class-wide progress dashboard. Students log in with a simple class code — no parent account needed. It’s perfect for teachers, school counselors, and after-school program leaders.

Is this appropriate for churches and faith-based programs?
Yes! Our life skills and character-building content is values-based and non-denominational. Many churches, VBS programs, and faith-based after-school programs use our platform for character education.
